VAC AERO International Inc. has received a second order from Tri-Industries in Terra Haute, Indiana for a front loading vacuum furnace which is available with a shortened delivery. The furnace has a work zone of 36" w x 30" h x 48" deep, and is constructed of three (3) layers of 1/2" thick carbon felt with an inner layer of Carbon Composite, with a Graphoil bonded hot face, and Curved Graphite heating elements. It also has B.O.C. Stokes mechanical pumps, Varian diffusion pump, Allen Bradley and Honeywell controls, and will be completely installed and commissioned by VAC AERO’s skilled personnel. This unit will be installed in the Terra Haute facility in January, and in February VAC AERO will be following that with the installation of a VAV 7272 HV-2 bottom loading furnace presently under construction at their Oakville, Ontario facility.
