"VAC AERO International Inc. of Oakville, Ontario, Canada recently received an order for a vacuum furnace from Aerojet Turbine Reworks Inc. in Richmond, British Columbia. "The furnace is a horizontal model with a working zone of 18" wide x 12" high x 24" deep, a Hull two stage mechanical pump, Varian VHS diffusion pump, Honeywell, Allen Bradley and Televac controls, a graphite felt hot zone with Molybdenum heating elements, and VAC AERO built closed loop water system. This system will compliment Aerojet’s process capabilities which include welding, thermal spraying,NDT, precision machining and air flow calibration".
