Vac Aero International Inc., Oakville, Ontario, Canada, received an order for a vacuum furnace from Aerojet Turbine Reworks Inc., Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. The furnace is a horizontal model with a working zone of 18 in. wide i 12 in. high i 24 in. deep (460 i 300 i 460 mm); a Hull two-stage mechanical pump; Varian VHS diffusion pump; Honeywell, Allen Bradley and Televac controls; a graphite felt hot zone with molybdenum heating elements and closed loop water system.
