"VAC AERO’s North American furnace manufacturing operations have recently received new furnace orders from five different customers. The orders will be delivered within the next six months to various sites in the United States, Canada and the Philippines. The contracts range from a laboratory furnace for a medical devices manufacturer, the sixteenth VAC AERO furnace built for that customer, to a large bottom-loading heat treating and brazing furnace for an aerospace parts manufacturer, the fifth VAC AERO furnace built for that customer. Other orders include an ultra-high vacuum furnace for a clean room processing application and a high pressure gas quench furnace for hardening of low alloy steel components. In addition to these furnace contracts, VAC AERO has been awarded orders totaling more than $750,000 for hot zone restorations and control system retrofits."
